Extroversion of an Inner Feeling

It is not easy for me to render a synoptic explanation of my work. However, trying to express myself in a light manner, I will say that I have tried to "think the landscape feeling" without any illusory compromises or an intellectual position. This is my means to reach emotion. Works that allow air and painting to borrow each other illusions, works that are an image and a poetic proposal sharing the feeling as a symbol.

I insist in the same concept over and over so I can experiment every variation imposed by the emotion. It somehow is the intimate reflection of and external, but individualized, world.

My strokes are thought and felt as a sensual and mystic allegory. Think of a circle that may, at the same time, be the circle and its own icon. In other words, it limits its own morphology. Those signs are made of data, enlivened and focused in any spot on the framed space. Symbols loaded with hidden emotions and excited with a certain parsimony.

I study different levels that are geometrically delimited by a free geometry and superimpose them as transparencies. I reaffirm the noble coexistence of opposites, the encounter of commotion and calm, the conclusive blend of solid, liquid and gaseous elements. Multiplicity as a statement.

Numbers and visual configurations -diversified, superimposed, repeated- can be guessed in these works. They arouse a conceptual and poetic world that establishes more emotional and direct records.

These are symbolic, geometrical and emotional works.

I explore and use new vocabularies whose transcendence would be implicit in its owns records and singular codes, in their organization, in their writing and in the way they have been consigned in the visual plane .

…trees, repeated birds, texts, used as graphic resources that may or may not be related to the global text. One color prevails as a symbol, a color that conventionally could be called yellow because it can be gold, orange, ocher, one in the array of shades of this hybrid family.

But above all, over reality, lies a concern that defies the classic composition balance.

A language of colors, shapes and concepts. The use and rupture of planes and elements with a ludic content. My work does not pretend to stand for an art critic and waives this power. I am essentially committed to art as my only and unrenounceable way of living and being in the world.
