That Tree was a symbol, a symbol that was revered. Today the tree is transformed, transmuted and processed to make wood panels, paper, cardboard. The tree is now ignored and disrespected at the same time. It is a fallen tree. My work starts in the streets. I look for discarded pieces of wood, remains of fallen trees,  materials that seem to be useless. To most eyes they are simply not beautiful enough.
